Radiation before surgery: a new path to better breast reconstruction?
NCT ID NCT06739655
Summary
This study is testing if changing the order of breast cancer treatments improves how women feel about their bodies after surgery. It compares giving radiation therapy before breast removal and reconstruction (the new approach) to the standard method of radiation after surgery. The main goal is to see if the new timing leads to higher satisfaction with breast appearance and better quality of life one year later.
