NCT ID NCT04913532

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to give radiation after breast cancer surgery. Instead of many small doses, they gave fewer, larger doses (hypofractionation) with a simultaneous extra boost to the tumor area. The goal was to see if this approach causes fewer skin problems. 35 people with early breast cancer took part. The study found that this shorter radiation schedule may be safe and well-tolerated.
