NCT ID NCT06739655
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two approaches for breast cancer patients who need a mastectomy and radiation. The experimental group gets radiation before surgery with immediate breast reconstruction, while the standard group gets radiation after surgery with delayed reconstruction. The goal is to see if the new approach improves satisfaction with breasts and quality of life. About 180 women will take part, and they will be followed for up to 10 years.
