Zapping spots: can local therapy boost survival for limited metastatic breast cancer?
NCT ID NCT06135714
Summary
This large trial is testing if adding a targeted local treatment to standard drug therapy helps people with advanced breast cancer that has spread to only a few spots in the body. After 12 weeks of initial drug treatment, 340 participants will be randomly assigned to either continue drugs alone or to also receive targeted radiation or surgery to the remaining spots, followed by the same drugs. The main goal is to see if this combined approach helps people live longer.
