First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study will check if small particles released by breast cancer cells, called exosomes, can help predict whether chemotherapy given before surgery will work well. Researchers will collect tumor tissue and blood samples from 60 women with breast cancer and compare the particles' genetic material to how the tumor responds. The goal is to find a simple way to personalize breast cancer treatment.
