Summary
This study tests a new imaging agent called pHLIP ICG that makes breast cancer cells glow during surgery. The goal is to help surgeons see and remove all cancerous tissue more accurately. The trial involves 55 adults with early-stage breast cancer who have not had prior treatment. It is the first human test of this agent, so safety is a key focus.
