New strategy aims to keep breast cancer patients on Life-Saving treatment

NCT ID NCT07071038

Summary

This study aims to help breast cancer patients stay on their hormone therapy by better managing its side effects. Researchers will compare two approaches for women who develop bothersome symptoms: switching to a different medication versus following standard treatment guidelines. The goal is to find the most effective way to control side effects so patients can complete their full 5-year treatment course, which lowers the risk of cancer returning.
