First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called the Braive Growth Modulation System to treat children with scoliosis (curved spine). The device was designed to help straighten the spine as the child grows, avoiding the need for traditional spinal fusion surgery. The study enrolled 10 children aged 8-15 with moderate curves, but was stopped early. The main goal was to check safety and see if the device could control the curve.
