NCT ID NCT01668082

First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how brain tumors use sugar (glucose) for energy by giving patients a special, non-radioactive form of glucose during surgery. Researchers will analyze the tumor tissue and compare it with MRI scans and genetic information. The goal is to find better ways to identify aggressive tumor cells without invasive procedures. About 40 people with a newly found brain mass will take part.
