New scan seeks to sharpen the picture of brain cancer
NCT ID NCT04173104
Summary
This small, early-stage study tested a new type of combined PET and MRI scan to see if it could take clearer pictures of brain tumors. It involved 5 adult patients with new or suspected returning brain tumors who were already scheduled for treatment. The goal was to gather initial data on whether this imaging method could help doctors better see and understand the cancer.
