Can computer games keep dementia at bay? major study seeks answer

NCT ID NCT04171323

Summary

This study is testing whether specific computer-based brain training exercises can help older adults with mild memory problems maintain their ability to perform daily tasks and delay the onset of dementia. Researchers will compare four different combinations of training exercises against a basic brain stimulation program in over 1,300 participants. The main goal is to find the most effective training program to help people stay independent longer.
