First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the brain activity of a therapist and a client can become synchronized during a therapy session for mild to moderate depression. Researchers will measure brain waves using EEG while participants receive either behavioral activation therapy or psychoeducation. The goal is to understand how this brain synchrony might relate to therapy outcomes, with follow-up surveys at two weeks and one month.
