Summary
This study aims to understand how psychological factors like expectations and emotions change how we feel pain. Researchers will recruit 500 healthy volunteers to undergo brain scans and simple tests involving mild, brief pain or other sensations. The goal is to map how the brain processes pain, which could later help inform better treatments.
