Scientists scan brains to unlock cocaine addiction secrets
NCT ID NCT04721418
Summary
This study aims to understand how cocaine addiction physically changes the brain. Researchers will use special brain scans (PET and MRI) to compare the brain connections of 80 people with cocaine addiction to those of healthy volunteers. The goal is to measure differences in brain structure and function, which could help explain addiction and guide future treatments.
