Scientists test brain zaps to unlock schizophrenia mysteries

NCT ID NCT07010614

Summary

This study aims to understand how brain activity in schizophrenia can be affected by non-invasive brain stimulation. Researchers will use a technique called theta burst stimulation on 60 participants with schizophrenia or epilepsy to measure brain wave changes. The goal is to gather knowledge about how schizophrenia affects the brain, which could eventually help develop better treatments.
