Zapping the brain to heal a Stroke-Damaged mind?

NCT ID NCT05195398

Summary

This study is testing whether a safe, mild form of brain stimulation (tDCS) can boost the benefits of computer-based brain training for people who have trouble with memory and thinking after a minor stroke. About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real stimulation or a fake version during their training sessions. Researchers will use brain scans and thinking tests to see if the treatment helps improve brain connections and cognitive skills over six months.
