Summary
This study is testing two types of magnetic brain stimulation to help people with schizophrenia quit smoking. Researchers believe the high smoking rates in this group may be due to overlapping brain circuits for addiction and schizophrenia. They will measure changes in brain activity and daily cigarette use to see if stimulating these specific circuits is effective.
