Zapping the brain to boost thinking in psychosis?

NCT ID NCT06107764

Summary

This study aims to understand if a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique can change how quickly people with psychotic disorders think and solve problems. Participants with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder will perform thinking tasks and have brain scans before and after receiving the stimulation. The goal is to learn if temporarily changing brain activity can improve processing speed, a key cognitive problem in these conditions.
