Magnetic brain zaps target debilitating stroke fatigue
NCT ID NCT05584124
Summary
This VA study is testing whether magnetic stimulation of the brain can help reduce the severe fatigue many people experience after a stroke. The trial will involve 60 stroke survivors who have been dealing with fatigue for over 6 months. Researchers will use a technique called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and measure changes in fatigue levels before and after treatment.
