Zapping the brain to heal Soldiers' minds?

NCT ID NCT04925453

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with mental exercises, could help improve concentration and memory problems in active-duty military members who had a past mild concussion. 56 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the real stimulation or a fake version during five days of training. Researchers measured changes in brain activity, thinking skills, and self-reported symptoms to see if the treatment was helpful.
