Zapping the brain at home to help patients understand sentences
NCT ID NCT05847985
Summary
This study aims to understand and potentially treat language comprehension problems in people with Lewy body diseases like Parkinson's. Researchers will first map how the brain processes sentences in 90 older adults, comparing patients to healthy peers. Then, they will test if a supervised, home-based noninvasive brain stimulation treatment can improve patients' ability to understand complex sentences.
