Zapping apathy: can a brain boost and games rekindle motivation in seniors?
NCT ID NCT05232877
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with cognitive training games on a tablet, can help reduce apathy in older adults with mild memory problems. Apathy is a lack of motivation that can significantly impact daily life. The trial involves 27 participants who receive either the real stimulation with games or a sham (fake) stimulation with games to compare results.
