Zapping the brain to curb alcohol cravings in veterans

Summary

This pilot study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce alcohol cravings in veterans who also have mild traumatic brain injury or PTSD. Twenty veterans will receive either real or placebo rTMS over 10 sessions in 2 weeks. The goal is to see if this treatment can ease cravings and improve symptoms.
