New scan aims to sharpen target for brain cancer radiation
NCT ID NCT06072807
Summary
This study is testing if a specialized type of PET scan, called an FES PET/CT, can help doctors better see and plan radiation treatment for breast cancer that has spread to the brain. The scan will be given to 20 patients before their standard radiation treatment. Researchers will check if the scan provides useful information that changes how doctors plan the radiation and if it helps predict patient outcomes.
