First seen Jun 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether getting a brain MRI every year helps find brain tumors that have spread from lung cancer. Researchers used health records from over 229,000 people in Korea to compare those who had regular brain scans with those who did not. The goal was to see if annual MRI leads to earlier detection and better survival.
