Summary
This study aims to understand how brain activity is connected to mood changes in people with major depression or epilepsy. Researchers will record participants' facial expressions and speech patterns on video while also measuring their brain activity through implanted electrodes. The goal is to find objective, measurable signs of mood that could help improve future mental health monitoring and treatments.
