Summary

This study tested whether adding the drug pembrolizumab to standard chemotherapy could help patients with a type of lung cancer that had spread to their brain but wasn't causing symptoms. The goal was to see if this approach could control the cancer in the brain and body, help patients live longer, and maintain their quality of life. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 3 participants.
