Summary
This study tested whether giving preventive radiation to the brain could stop cancer from spreading there in people with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer already receiving targeted drug therapy (trastuzumab). It aimed to see if this approach helped patients live longer without brain metastases. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 13 participants.
