Can early brain care protect quality of life during cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT05503251

Summary

This study tests whether early neuropsychological evaluation and support helps patients with brain metastases maintain their quality of life and thinking abilities after radiation therapy. Researchers are comparing two groups: one receiving specialized neuropsychological care alongside standard treatment, and another receiving usual care alone. The goal is to see if this integrated approach prevents the decline in daily enjoyment and cognitive function that often occurs with brain radiation.
