Brain mapping breakthrough could make epilepsy surgery safer and more precise
NCT ID NCT04649008
Summary
This study aims to improve surgery for people with drug-resistant epilepsy. Researchers will use advanced MRI brain scans to create detailed maps of a patient's brain network. The goal is to better predict where seizures start and spread, which could help surgeons plan more precise and less invasive procedures to control seizures.
