Scientists scan brains to unlock mysteries of mental illness
NCT ID NCT03995121
Summary
This study aims to understand how brain connections differ in people with schizophrenia or cannabis use disorder compared to healthy people. Researchers will use a special brain scan (PET imaging) to measure these connections in 250 adults aged 18-65. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to test a treatment, by also linking scan results to thinking tests and other brain activity measurements.
