Summary

This study looks at whether the steep head-down position used during robot-assisted prostate surgery can cause subtle brain injury. Researchers measure three brain-specific proteins (S100B, GFAP, and NSE) in the blood before and after surgery, along with simple cognitive tests. The goal is to see if these markers rise, signaling possible brain stress or damage. About 59 adults undergoing robotic prostate removal will take part.
