Scientists test new drug combo to fight deadly brain Tumor's return

NCT ID NCT04391595

Summary

This study tested if two oral drugs, LY3214996 and abemaciclib, could reach brain tumors in people with recurrent glioblastoma. Up to 50 adults scheduled for surgery took the drugs before their operation so researchers could measure drug levels in the tumor tissue. The main goals were to see if the drugs penetrated the brain and if they helped control the cancer's growth after surgery.
