First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at how severe injuries change the brain, bone marrow, and gut, and how these changes cause long-term anemia and slow recovery. Researchers will study 275 adults with serious blunt trauma to understand these interactions. The goal is to find new ways to help people recover better after major trauma.
