Massive 5000-Person trial tests if new brain aneurysm devices prevent deadly strokes

NCT ID NCT07175519

Summary

This large study aims to find out how safe and effective newer medical devices are for treating brain aneurysms, which are weak spots in brain arteries that can burst and cause strokes. It will follow 5,000 patients who receive these treatments to see which factors, like smoking, might cause an aneurysm to come back. The goal is to help doctors choose the best devices to control aneurysms and prevent dangerous bleeding in the brain.
