First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding a detailed educational video to the standard verbal consent process helps women with cervical or uterine cancer feel more satisfied and less anxious about brachytherapy, a type of internal radiation. About 80 women participated, and researchers measured their satisfaction and anxiety at several points. The goal was to see if the video improves understanding and comfort during treatment.
