First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding Botox to standard prostate surgery (TURP or Aquablation) can reduce bothersome urinary symptoms like frequent or urgent urination after the procedure. About 20 men with enlarged prostate and overactive bladder will receive Botox injections into their bladder during surgery. Researchers will check for side effects like trouble emptying the bladder and how long patients stay in the hospital.
