Mayo clinic aims to break down barriers to cancer trials for minority patients
NCT ID NCT04630431
Summary
This study aims to understand why minority cancer patients often don't join clinical trials and to create a personalized educational platform to help them participate. Researchers will survey nearly 600 cancer patients about their knowledge and attitudes toward trials, then test different educational approaches. The goal is to develop better tools that help underserved patients overcome barriers and access potentially life-saving trial opportunities.
