Summary
This study tests a bone marrow transplant for people newly diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia, a condition where the bone marrow stops making enough blood cells. The transplant uses marrow from a partially matched family member or unrelated donor. The goal is to improve survival and reduce complications like graft-versus-host disease. Participants must be aged 3 to 75 and have no fully matched sibling donor.
