First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study explores whether the characteristics of bone marrow in the upper arm bone can predict how well a torn rotator cuff heals after surgery. Researchers will enroll 50 adults aged 18-75 with full-thickness tears and use MRI and CT scans to measure tendon healing. The goal is to identify factors that could lead to better repair techniques or pre-surgery screening in the future.
