Do arthritis drugs protect bones after menopause?
NCT ID NCT07336693
Summary
This study looked at how bone density changes over time in postmenopausal women with rheumatoid arthritis, a condition that increases fracture risk. Researchers followed 82 women to see how different combinations of arthritis medications and bone-strengthening treatments affected their bone health. The goal was to understand which treatment approaches best help maintain strong bones in this vulnerable group.
