No-Radiation bone scan could replace X-Ray for osteoporosis screening

Summary
This study is testing a new portable ultrasound device that measures bone density in the lower leg without using radiation. Researchers will compare its results to the standard X-ray method (DXA) in 350 healthy men and women aged 21 to 55. The goal is to see if the ultrasound device can accurately estimate bone mineral density, which could make osteoporosis screening easier and more accessible.
