Summary

This study tests whether removing some blood during bone cancer surgery and replacing it with fluid (acute normovolemic hemodilution) can reduce the need for donor blood transfusions. The trial will include 420 adults undergoing elective bone cancer surgery. The goal is to see if this technique lowers transfusion rates and related complications.
