First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at 40 young boys who play soccer—some have type 1 diabetes, some don't—to see how their bodies differ in muscle, fitness, and temperature control during exercise. Researchers will use thermal cameras and continuous glucose monitors to track changes in real time. The goal is to learn more about how diabetes affects athletic performance and safety, which could lead to better exercise guidelines.
