Could muscle loss make chemo more toxic?
NCT ID NCT02734069
Summary
This study aims to understand if a patient's body composition, specifically muscle mass, affects how much chemotherapy they receive and their risk of severe side effects. Researchers will observe 132 adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who are starting standard chemotherapy. They will measure patients' muscle mass and track side effects to see if there is a link.
