Summary
This study tested a new way to biopsy suspicious breast calcifications (tiny calcium spots) found on mammograms. The new method uses contrast dye to guide the biopsy, while the standard method uses X-ray guidance. The goal was to see which method more accurately samples the most dangerous part of the calcification. The study involved 184 women with suspicious calcifications.
