Does your weight affect your pain after back surgery?
NCT ID NCT06257953
Summary
This study looked at whether a person's body weight affects how much pain they feel after surgery for a slipped disc in the lower back. Researchers studied 75 adults who had this surgery and received a specific type of pain-blocking injection. The goal was to understand if higher body mass index (BMI) leads to higher pain scores after the operation.
