Could a simple infection spare women from scary cancer tests?

NCT ID NCT07037589

Summary

This study aims to find out if women aged 50 and older who have blood in their urine from a sudden bladder infection need to go through the full set of tests to check for cancer. Researchers will follow 300 women for a year after they get standard tests like a bladder scope and a special CT scan. The goal is to see if some women with a clear infection can safely avoid these more invasive procedures.
