This study looks at whether filtering out blue light at night in hospital rooms can reduce inflammation, protect thinking skills, and improve mood and sleep in 80 adults having elective heart surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to wear blue-blocking glasses or regular glasses at night. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost change can lead to faster recovery and shorter hospital stays.
