One blood test for six cancers? new study aims to revolutionize early detection
NCT ID NCT07224750
Summary
This study aims to develop a simple blood test to detect six different gastrointestinal cancers earlier than current methods. Researchers will analyze blood samples from 1,000 people, including those with cancer and healthy controls, to find tiny genetic signals that indicate cancer. The goal is to create a more accessible and less invasive screening tool to help catch these cancers sooner, when treatment is more likely to be successful.
